Avoiding Collaboration Sand Traps
A large part of the advantages of BIM are related to collaboration. More offices are choosing to do the majority of building design using Revit. What are the implications? Is it as simple as dropping AutoCAD and selecting Revit as the replacement? Most of us would say that is simplistic and have gotten past the hurdle of implementation. But there are sand traps to collaborative design. Some are easy to see and avoid while others are difficult to detect and have significant repercussions to the profitability of a project. This session will discuss some of these sand traps exposed over years of collaborative building design.
