Early Bird registration is now open for the 2016 Orange County BIM Workshops! As you may know, the event was rescheduled from its original June date to September 27, 2016. Along with this new date, our team also made some other changes to the event, based on feedback from past attendees and users like you.
Hands-on training labs are back!
One of the most frequent feedback we heard was to bring back the labs (sessions that were conducted in our computer labs with machines set up for 18 users), so that’s what we did! This year, we’re bringing two labs to each timeslot on the agenda, and each session focuses on specific tools and workflows within Revit. We’ll provide the Revit software and datasets—you just need to sign up and show up! One caveat: we made a change to class selections this year, so labs are on a first-come, first-serve basis; read more about this change below.
90-minute sessions for a deep (but not overly long) dive into each topic
We’ve experimented with a few different session durations in the past, from 50 to 120 minutes. 90 minutes, however, seems to work the best to offer you sufficient time to learn about a topic more in-depth while maximizing your retention.
Save big with $99 Early Bird
To make the deal even sweeter for you, we’ve extended the Early Bird period. From now until August 12th, you can save $100 off Regular Rate and pay only $99 to attend a full-day training conference that includes breakfast, lunch, and an evening social. What a deal!
You should also consider purchasing Early Bird to ensure you get the classes you want. This year, the class selection process is simplified to a first-come, first-serve based on registration date. Want to attend one of the highly-demanded labs? Purchase Early Bird now to ensure you get first-pick when class selection begins on September 12th!
An agenda focused on productivity and workflows for users
This year’s agenda is refocusing on tools, tips, and tutorials for the everyday user. Want to improve your knowledge of roof and floor framing for residences? There’s a lab to help you do just that!
Interested in incorporating a construction schedule into a coordination model? Timeliner and Simulation are such hot topics, that we’ve designed a lab just for that.
Need a refresher on what’s new with families in Revit? Attend the Revit Families lab or the special presentation from Robert Bell about MEP Family Techniques.
Don’t see a topic for your discipline or area of interest in this year’s agenda? Share your feedback with us and we will happily evaluate that topic for future events.
Our team and event speakers are very excited to bring the Orange County BIM Workshops back to Anaheim this year with a couple of new changes. What are your thoughts about the changes and what are you most excited to see? Leave your thoughts in the comments!
